歌手Stacey Q (史黛西Q):
Popular singer Stacey Q (November 30, 1959) is best known for her hit single "Two of Hearts", which reached #3 in the U.S. in 1986. In other countries, including the U.S., she's also as well known for We Connect from 1987, which topped the charts at #23. Both singles were pulled from the Better Than Heaven album, and both were featured on the TV series The Facts Of Life (1987), in which she made guest appearances as the character Cinnamon (she would go on to appear in the sitcoms Full House and Mama's Family, as well as star in the film One Man Force). Her sophomore album, Hard Machine and her third album , Nights Like This were much stronger albums overall but went mostly unoticed to all other than Dance music lovers and hardcore Stacey Q fans.
Born Stacey Lynn Swain, early in her life, Swain studied classical ballet and theater, and through the 70's was an entertainer at Disney and in Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. In the early 80's, she joined the dance music outfit Q (named after the James Bond character), which became SSQ; when she went solo as Stacey Q, she initially continued to work with her SSQ mates musically.
Initially written off as HiNRG fluff, Stacey Q showed a more spiritually-minded side of herself on the late-90's, folk-leaning release Boomerang (which included a version of George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord"). Though maintaining a fairly steady presence on the dance charts, she since then has yet to return to the Top 40. 1998 saw her make a "special non-sexual appearance" as a Chinese food delivery girl in the gay porn film Playing The Odds, and in 2000 she took part in the gay-themed comedy/drama/art film Citizens of Perpetual Indulgence. She's also appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks (2002), and voiced a character in the English-language version of the Japanese animation, Stratos 4.
VH1's Where Are They Now? produced a feature on the artist, in which she revealed herself to be a devotee of Tibetan Buddhism, having practiced under a teacher in Tibet.
Stacey is rumoured to be working on a new project titled, "Stardust" which has no scheluded release date yet.

I need you, I need you
Come on, come on
I never said I wasn’t gonna tell nobody
No, baby
But this good lovin’ I can’t keep it to myself
Oh, no
When we’re together it’s like hot coals in a fire
Hot, baby
My body’s burnin’, so come on be my desire
Come on, come on
I’ve got this feelin’ that you’re goin’ to stay
I never knew that it could happen this way
Before I met you I was fallin’ apart
But now at last I really know that we are
Two of hearts
Two hearts that beat as one
Two of hearts
I need you, I need you
Two of hearts
Two hearts that beat as one
Two of hearts
Come on, come on
People get jealous ‘cause we always stay together
Yeah, baby
I guess they really want a love like yours and mine
Together, forever
I knew thought that I could ever be this happy
Yeah, baby
My brains were empty, boy, you came in the nick of time
Whoa, whoa, whoa
I’ve got this feelin’ that you’re goin’ to stay
I never knew that it could happen this way
Before I met you I was fallin’ apart
But now at last I really know that we are
Two of hearts
Two hearts that beat as one
Two of hearts
I need you, I need you
Two of hearts
Two hearts that beat as one
Two of hearts
Come on, come on
I need you, I need you
Hot-hot-hot, baby
Hot-hot-hot, baby
I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I need you
